In April 2014, Ezzedine Chaïeb — owner of L’Escargot Sousse and Bailli Délégué of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in Tunisia — signed a historic Charter of Twinning with the Bailliage du Portugal.
This partnership, part of the Association Mondiale de la Gastronomie, celebrates the unity of two nations under the shared values of culinary artistry, culture, and fraternity.
Through this agreement, Tunisia and Portugal reaffirmed their commitment to promoting fine dining, cultural exchange, and mutual respect for their gastronomic traditions.
At L’Escargot, this spirit lives daily through a fusion of Mediterranean and French flavors, reflecting the same passion for excellence that inspired this international accord.
